The city of Rashid is rich in many monuments and has placed it as the second largest city containing Islamic monuments in Egypt after Cairo, and perhaps the most prominent feature of its historical houses is characterized by unique architectural designs that you cannot find elsewhere. The “Ramadan” house is considered one of the most important archaeological houses in Rashid due to its unique architectural design on the one hand, and its role in historical events on the other hand. North and West are fronted. The Arab Contractors Company is currently in the process of restoring the house to preserve it under the supervision of the Ministry of Antiquities.
