Description: Archeological buildings
The Palace of Muhammad Ali in Shubra is considered a world-class artistic icon that combines the arts of European style and planning in Islamic architecture. It consists of the Gabaliya kiosk building, which takes the shape of a rectangle and consists of one floor, and the Faqih Palace building on an area of 50 acres. The state provided real support to restore the palace of Muhammad Ali to its splendor, through the restoration, treatment and cleaning of the marble floors, and the insulation work for the ceilings and the treatment of wood from fungi were completed, in addition to the treatment of cracks in all the walls of the building, and at the same time the necessary studies were made for the structural balance of the building. . The Arab Contractors Company, under the supervision of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, has renovated the Jabaliya booth building and raised the efficiency of landscape. One of the most difficult challenges that the company faced in implementing the project’s work items was the small area of the Jabaliya booth building and the narrowness of the entry slots, which conflicted with the entry of the piling machine, which the company overcame by dismantling the machine and moving it inside the building and then reassembling it to complete the work.
