Project Location: The town of Mutanda is located northwest of the capital, Lusaka, approximately 600 km away. General Contractor: Arab Contractors O.A.O LTD JV with Palmetto Trading LTD
Project Description:
The project consists of rehabilitating the existing road from a deteriorated cold-mix asphalt layer to a hot-mix asphalt layer. This section extends from Km 129+140 to Km 204+140 with a length of (75 km), a width of 7 meters, and a 2-meter shoulder expansion on both sides of the road. In addition, (10 km) inside the city is included, making the total works 85 km.
Along with the rehabilitation of (3) existing bridges as follows:
Bridge at Km 128+960 with a length of 27m
Bridge at Km 130+600 with a length of 30m
Bridge at Km 198+00 with a length of 117m
In addition to drainage structures required for stormwater collection.
