Adly Mansour Bridge (intersection of the Ring Road and Ismailia Road) - Egypt

The project is part of the governmental plan which is implemented by the Ministry of Transport to develop and expand the Ring Road. The bridge is used for the movement of vehicles coming from Maadi and New Cairo heading to El Salam and El Marg and Cairo-Alexandria Agricultural Road. Adly Mansour Bridge is crossing over Cairo-Ismailia Desert Road and above El Taameer Bridge with a length of 1250 m, width 30 m in width and includes 7 traffic lanes. The concrete body of the bridge is 930 m and includes a slab of 20 m length, inlet and outlet with 125 m length for each on retaining walls. With the operation of the bridge, El Salam Tunnel will be operated in one direction, which is the reverse direction of the bridge.

The project consists of:

-50 precast beams (V-Shape) with a weight of 230tons / beam.
-90 precast beams (T-Shape) with a weight of 170tons / beam.
-5 box culverts 170 ML approx.
-4 steel beams 223 ML approx.
-The total weight of the steel beam is 2,600 ton,p11-p10.
-The weight of a single beam is 230 ton, and itis the largest on a land intersection inside or outside of cities.
