Development and Restoration Union National Bank - Sursaq Pasha Palace - Egypt

Monuments Restoration   ::  Completed Projects   ::  2016  ::

Client: Union National Bank of Emirates
Description: special architectural Style Buildings
The historic Sursock Pasha Palace is located on Fouad Street, which was established in 1886 in a rare architectural style. The origin of the name goes back to a Lebanese family, one of the largest families in Beirut in the old days, called Sursock, where its members lived between the Levant and Alexandria. The Sursock family had a close relationship with Khedive Said and later Ismail Pasha, and this friendship led to them financing a large proportion of the costs of the Suez Canal. The Arab Contractors carried out the restoration work of the Lebanese Palace of El Wajeh Sursock Pasha and returned the lost architectural elements (the pedestal - the tower) according to the pictures of the old palace, under the supervision and financing of the Union National Bank, which currently occupies the palace. Working date: 2015 – 2016
