Restoration of Amr ibn Al A'as Mosque - Al Fostat - Egypt

This is the second and oldest mosque ever built in Egypt in 21 AH.
Monument restoration department restored the mosque through the following works:
•The site clearance works and the displacing of the groundwater to keep away from the collapse threat.
•The strengthening works of the soil.
•320 piles on 35m depth, in addition to the marble pillar.
•The execution of the pillars and walls of the mosque.
The wooden ceils and its painting.
