The AC signed the contract of the civil works for Suez Thermal Power Plant 650 MW. The company awarded the contract with a total value EGP 605 million, after competition with international companies specialized in power plant field. Eng. Mahlab stated during the meeting that the company will exhort its best effort to decrease the execution time to get benefit from this plant as soon as possible. This comes from the national role of the AC in increasing the power production. The project execution time is 37 months, its scope of work includes the designing, execution, installation of the civil works; the electrical and mechanical works; concrete works, execution of 152m chimney; diaphragm walls; drying, finishing and steel structures.
