Airports   ::  Completed Projects   ::  1962  ::

A unique design which required considerable preparations. The structure consists of many huge and heavy precast concrete units such as walls, columns, roof, slabs,...etc. It varies in weight from 15 to 30 tons and was lifted by machines to their proper positions in the building. The roofing consists of concrete precast slabs with rigid insulation and precast concrete caps. The project was completed in two years. The building is completely air conditioned and it includes two separate buildings, one for international flights and one for domestic flights. the airport serves the purpose of a highly standard international airport on the path - between the east and the west.
