The Prime Minister Inspects Cairo International Stadium's Preparations for Africa Cup of Nations

Prime Minister and Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Dr. Moustafa Madbouli checked Cairo International Stadium’s facilities. He was accompanied by Dr. Ashraf Sobhi – the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Aly Darweesh – Head of Cairo Stadium Authority and Eng. Mohsen Salah – Chairman and CEO of the Arab Contractors Company.
Dr. Moustafa Madbouli and Dr. Ashraf Sobhi inspected the main playground which accommodates about 72,400 persons. This playground is considered one of the main playgrounds in Egypt. It will host the launching ceremony for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
The Prime Minister followed up the ongoing works on site for the replacement of the playground's floor according to the modern international standards, the renovation of the seats of the spectators, the commentators' cabinet, the changing rooms, all the gates, entries and exists of the stadium. 
There was an extensive discussion between the Prime Minister, the Minister of Youth and Sports and the Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company where many suggestions and ideas were presented.

The tour of the Prime Minister includes the inspection of the international bicycles track which is carried out by the Arab Contractors Company and will be executed according to the latest international sporting standards. It is considered the First and the largest of its kind in the Middle East given Egypt's readiness to organize the World Cycle Championship in the Summer of 2020. The tournament of the Prime Minister in Cairo International Stadium includes the International Swimming Pools Complex, and acknowledging the systems used to provide services to citizens.
