The Arab Contractors honored this month in different various fields. The governor of South Sinai honored AC Chairman for the role of the AC during Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) which held in Sharm El Sheikh on Last March. That the AC executed different prominent projects such as: development of El Salam Road, the development of the conferences center and the execution of the Peace Icon on the entrance of Sharm El Sheikh designed on Lotus shape carrying up the globe wrapped with the peace wings; total height over 25m, 27m width and 100 tons weight.
In addition to this; the Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, Theodoros II honored the AC the Sacred Patriarch Medal from the highest level for its role in the rehabilitation and restoration of Mar Gerges Church in Misr Al Qadima which has a historical background since the era of Saint Mar Gerges. The restoration works took 30 months without stopping the prayers inside the church. The restoration works were divided into several phases, started by the architectural restoration; structural restoration, lastly the fine restoration works which use the carbon fiber slices to sustain the existing concrete without effect on the monuments on the church, this material is used for the first time in Africa and Middle East and it was imported from Swiss. Moreover, the electromechanics works including the air-conditioning, modern lighting and site works.
