Egypt's Islamic Cultural Center in the New Administrative Capital ( Misr Mosque ) - Egypt

The Arab Contractors Company is carrying out the project of Egypt's Islamic Cultural Center in the New Administrative Capital under the supervision of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority. It is located at the heart of the Governmental District, and is bounded by route 11, the presidential axis and the People's Square from the north. From the south, it is bounded by Mohamed Bin Zayed Northern Road on a plateau 24m height.
Misr Mosque
Its total area is 19100m2; it has 3 entries topped with Islamic domes in addition to a fourth services entry. The mosque nave is 9600m2 and accommodates 12000 worshippers. It has an Islamic dome with a diameter of 29.5m, 6 halls (350m2 for each). Each hall is topped by an Islamic dome and the mosque has different service spaces. There are 40,000 prayers in the upper courtyard, 55,000 prayers in the lower courtyard with total number 107.000 prayers.
The Minarets
The 2 minarets are 140m higher above the upper courtyard; each one is built upon 1600m2. The ground floor of the minaret has different spaces as: WCs, gift shop, ticketing office, administrative office and other auxiliary services.  It is mediated by a luxury staircase up to 133 m with a special needs elevator.
East Hall Building
Its total area is about 3055m2, mediated by an Islamic dome. The building is divided into 3 main halls: 2 halls of 200 people each, the third hall accommodate 400 persons. The building has 4 main entries and includes 4 administrative offices spread over 2 floors.
West Hall Building
Its total area is about 2800m2, mediated by an Islamic dome. The building includes a main VIP hall with total area of 800m2, 2 presidential lounges (130m2 for each), a 20m2 presidential reception hall. The building has 3 main entries and includes 4 administrative offices spread over 2 floors.

East Service Building
It has 4 gates serves as main entries and linking between the secondary and the upper courtyards of the mosque. The building is built upon 45260m2. Its spaces are divided into shops and a public library 300m2, 2 rooms for Quran memorization (100m2 for each), praying hall 1700m2, multi-use hall 650m2 and ablution areas to serve the mosque.
West Service Building
It has 4 gates serves as main entries and linking between the secondary and the upper courtyards of the mosque. The building is built upon 33085m2. Its spaces are divided into shops, media center with 3 administrative offices, WCs and ablution areas to serve the mosque.
Commercial Cultural Center
The building has 2 gates serves as main entries and 2 utility entrances that linking between the secondary and the upper courtyards of the mosque. The building’s total area is 59765m2. Its spaces are divided into shops, administrative offices and meeting halls.
