Eng. Ahmed El Assar – Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company inaugurated the development works at the company's medical complex in Nasr City, this comes within the framework of the company's commitment to providing comprehensive and advanced medical services to its employees, pensioners, and their families. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Eng. Hassan Mostafa - Senior Vice Chairman, Dr. Mohammed Onsy Elbeshouty - Vice Chairman, and AC Board Members: Dr. Eng. Ahmed El Adlani and Eng. Mohamed Elwi. Following the inauguration, Eng. El Assar praised the development of the medical complex, explaining that the renovations included the reorganization and equipping of several units and clinics. The complex now comprises 37 clinics “were 11 previously", distributed across 3 floors, in addition to a fully equipped waiting area for each clinic. He noted that the medical equipment installed at the complex is among the most advanced in Egypt, contributing to a significant improvement in the quality of medical services provided to employees. Eng. El Assar also commended the provision of electronic medical services and their integration with various company departments, ensuring faster and more efficient service delivery and easier access for employees. He emphasized the need for further expansion of this system in the future. Major General Dr. Abdel Harith Ahmed - Supervisor of the Medical Sector, thanked the Chairman for providing all the necessary resources for the development and modernization work. He explained that the complex includes a pensions unit consisting of a clinic and a patient waiting area, in addition to several administrative units, offices for new employees, those applying for travel, and a reservations office. It also includes a health insurance unit with a clinic and a pharmacy to facilitate services for pensioners, as well as a mosque. Dr. Mohamed Samir - Head of the Medical Sector, explained that the development work also included equipping the laboratory with 5 separate rooms, including a reception area and patient waiting area, a sample collection room, and the main laboratory room. The laboratory was also equipped with specialized medical devices, including devices for analyzing hormones, blood, coagulation, chemistry, Thrombocytes, and HbA1c, in addition to a special incubator for the bacteriology unit, microscopes, and a blood sample recycling and separation device. Dr. Abdel Fattah El Masry - Deputy Head of the Medical Sector pointed out that improving the efficiency of the medical facilities and equipment in the complex serves the medical process and raises its quality, reflecting the satisfaction of company employees, pensioners, and their families. Dr. Wael El Banna - Director of the Medical Complex explained that the cardiology unit has been equipped with an electrocardiogram (ECG) machine, an echocardiography machine, a stress ECG machine, a 24-hour Holter monitor, and blood pressure monitors. He stated that the ophthalmology unit includes specialized equipment for computerized vision testing, intraocular pressure measurement, fundus examination, and lens measurement, while the otolaryngology (ENT) unit has been equipped with a specialized otoscope and ear, nose, and throat endoscope, as well as an ear cleaning device. He added that the equipment also includes a fully equipped dental unit with a modern, state-of-the-art dental chair, and an ultrasound unit with a machine for ultrasound imaging of the abdomen, pelvis, thyroid gland, face, and neck, as well as Doppler ultrasound of arteries and veins. Additionally, the urology clinic has an ultrasound machine, and the dermatology unit has been equipped with a cauterization device.
