As part of strengthening economic ties and opening new avenues for collaboration in Oman, Eng. Ahmed El Assar – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, met with His Excellency Dr. Saud bin Hamoud Al Habsi - Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources. They discussed avenues for joint cooperation and reviewed opportunities for future projects in agriculture, water resources, and fisheries, supporting sustainable development plans in the Sultanate of Oman. The Chairman also met with His Excellency Dr. Khalfan bin Saeed Al Shuaili - Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, where they discussed proposed projects in housing, urban development, and infrastructure. The meetings were attended by Eng. Heba Abu El Ella - Vice Chairman, Eng. Hossam Fayed - Supervisor of Oman Projects, Eng. Mohamed Zohairy - Manager of Oman Branch; and Sheikh Salem Al Siyabi - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Arab Contractors Oman. During the two meetings, Engineer Ahmed El-Assar welcomed cooperation with the Omani side, emphasizing his pride in the close relations between the company and the Sultanate of Oman, and its keenness to expand its operations in line with comprehensive development plans across various sectors. He explained that the company pays close attention to the Omani market, particularly in the areas of housing, infrastructure, water projects, and agriculture, noting that Arab Contractors' accumulated experience and qualified technical personnel enable it to execute major projects according to the highest quality standards. In a related context, Eng. Ahmed El Assar and his delegation visited the real estate development exhibition currently being held at the Exhibition Center in Al Irfan, Muscat, where bilateral meetings were held with leaders of the Omani Ministry of Housing. During these meetings, Eng. Ahmed El Assar expressed his pride in the pioneering projects being implemented by Egyptian companies, most notably Talaat Moustafa Group and Sabbour Company, along with several other leading Egyptian companies.
