Future University in Egypt organizes Engineering Seminar on the Grand Egyptian Museum with participation of Arab Contractors

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Future University in Egypt organized a specialized scientific seminar entitled "GEM Unveiled: The Structural DNA," with the participation of several contracting and engineering consulting companies, most notably Arab Contractors. The event featured a keynote panel discussion with Arab Contractors, attended by Eng. Mohamed Elwi – Board Member of the Arab Contractors, and Eng. Osama Kamal - Head of the Equipment Sector. During the session, the company's advanced expertise in transporting and installing massive artifacts, and the mechanisms for preserving them during construction, was reviewed. This aligns with the company's ongoing national mission to protect and preserve Egyptian heritage. The company successfully relocated King Ramses II Statue from Ramses Square to the Grand Egyptian Museum, as well as 84 other large artifacts for display in the Grand Hall. This symposium aimed to bridge the gap between academic study and practical application, highlighting the engineering and implementation aspects of the Grand Egyptian Museum project, while also showcasing the technical challenges and innovative solutions implemented during its various phases.
