Eng. Ahmed El Assar - Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, and his accompanying delegation of Eng. Heba Abu El Ela - Vice Chairman, AC Board Members: Dr.Eng. Ahmed El Adlani, and Eng. Hassan Ibraheem paid a visit to the Republic of Cameroon. The company’s delegation held several meetings with senior officials to discuss ways to expand the scope of the company’s work. These included meetings with Mr. Samuel Mvondo - Chief of Staff at the Presidency, Ms. Célestine Ketcha Courtes- Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Mr. Armand Ndjodom- Secretary of State to the Ministry of Public Works, Mr. Léandre Bassolé- Regional Director of the African Development Bank for Central Africa, and Mr. Justin Ntsama- CEO of Minkouma Energy. During the meeting, the Minister of Housing praised the company’s performance and presented a letter of thanks for the recent efforts to rehabilitate the Madagascar-City Vert road in record time. This road leads to the cathedral that Pope Leo, the Pope of the Vatican, visited during his recent visit to Cameroon. The company delegation also visited Mbalmayo–Sangmélima project in southern Cameroon to inspect the work progress onsite, which has reached a 20% completion rate in record time considering the project started on 03/12/2025 It is worth noting that the company’s delegation attended the implementation of the Emulsion Enhanced Recycling (EER) technology, which relies on recycling the asphalt and base layers on-site using ECL60 bitumen and reinforcing the pavement layers with high-strength geogrids. This enhances the road’s lifespan and reduces reflection cracking. This project represents a pioneering model of sustainable and innovative Egyptian engineering and sets a new standard for infrastructure project implementation across Africa.
