Arab Contractors Company received a delegation from the African Journalists Union, representing several African countries, during a visit to the company held on the sidelines of the 62nd Training Program for Young African Journalists, convened in Cairo. The program is organized by the Supreme Council for Media Regulation in cooperation with the Union and the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The visit aimed to introduce African journalists to Egypt’s leading and pioneering experience in construction and development. The visit program included a presentation highlighting the most prominent projects implemented by the Arab Contractors in Egypt and across Africa. The company’s efforts in the field of training were also reviewed, along with its role in building and developing engineering and technical capacities in a number of African countries. The meeting was attended by Eng. Amani Khodeir - Head of Africa Projects Follow-up Sector and Eng. Sherif Hamdy - Manager of the Institute of Construction and Engineering Management Technology. The delegation conducted a field tour to Cairo Metro Line 4 project. They were received by Eng. Mohamed Abou Deshish - Head of the Sector Supervising CML4 Phase1, and Eng. Abeer Morsi – AC Executive Board Member and Project Manager. The delegation was presented with a comprehensive briefing on the project’s components, the latest technologies employed, and the company’s role in implementing this vital national project in accordance with the highest standards of quality and safety. In a related context, the delegation also visited the company’s furniture showroom (AC Furniture), where they were received by Eng. El Said Saad – Manager of the Formwork and Specialized Works Department. The delegation reviewed a range of the company’s products, which reflect its accumulated expertise and the diversity of its activities, as well as the high level of craftsmanship and distinctive designs showcased in the showroom. At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation commended the pioneering role of the Arab Contractors Company in implementing major national projects both within Egypt and abroad, and praised its level of professionalism and technical expertise. They affirmed that what they witnessed reflects a distinguished image of the Egyptian experience in building and construction across Africa.
