At a grand ceremony held in Dubai, “MEED” International announced the results of its annual competition to honor the best projects and companies in the Middle East and North Africa region. The Arab Contractors emerged as the top-awarded Egyptian company, securing 6 distinguished awards for major national projects delivered by the company. The Suez Canal Museum Renovation and Development project won the Refit & Redevelopment Project of the Year. It was implemented by the Arab Contractors Company under the supervision of the Suez Canal Authority. New Alamein City Tourist Promenade won the Leisure Project of the Year . It was implemented by the Arab Contractors Company under the supervision of the New Urban Communities Authority and the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities. The Nile Bridge project on Aswan Dam Alternative Road Axis won Small Project of the Year. It was implemented by the Arab Contractors Company under the supervision of the Roads and Bridges Authority and the Ministry of Transport. Al-Barageel Sector, 26 July New Axis won the Road Project of the Year, which was implemented by the Arab Contractors Company, under the supervision of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces. Cairo Metro Line3 - Phases 3B & 3C, won the award in the transport projects category, which was implemented by the Arab Contractors under the supervision of the National Authority for Tunnels – Ministry of Transport. At the Middle East and North Africa level, Arab Contractors also received the Highly Commended award in its category for the Suez Canal Museum project. These awards recognize the company’s excellence in executing a number of prominent national and international projects. The awards were received at the ceremony by Eng. Ahmed El Deeb – Manager of Technical Support Department, Eng. Hamdy Mourad – Manager of Arab Contractors Dubai, and Eng. Engy Mohamed Naguib - Technical Manager of the Board Member’s Office.
