Eng. Sherif El Sherbiny - The Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities held a meeting with Eng. Ahmed El Assar - Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, in the presence of Eng. Hassan Mustafa - Senior Vice Chairman to follow up the progress of the projects being implemented within the framework of the Presidential Initiative “Decent Life” for the development of Egypt’s rural villages. The meeting reviewed all projects being implemented by the National Authority of Potable Water and Sewage (NOPWASD), including ongoing village sanitation projects, treatment plants, and pumping stations. The meeting was also attended by officials from the Ministry of Housing, the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater, and the National Authority of Potable Water and Sewage.
During the meeting, the Minister of Housing stressed the need for concerted efforts and the mobilization of all resources to complete the projects in the villages included in the "Decent Life" initiative according to their planned schedules, in accordance with the directives of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. He also emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts by the executing companies, preparing weekly progress reports, conducting regular site visits to the projects, and maintaining continuous coordination between officials from the Ministry and the National Authority Potable Water and Sewage to ensure tangible results and adherence to project deadlines.
This meeting comes as part of the periodic meetings held by Eng. Sherif El Sherbiny to follow up on the “Decent Life” projects with the ministry’s affiliated bodies and executing companies, and to follow up on each governorate separately, and to explore the details of these projects to complete them as soon as possible to enter service, noting that these projects are of great importance, as they directly affect the lives of citizens and improve their quality of life.
