Sharqia Governor inaugurates Kafr Abu Negm Village Wastewater Project

As part of Sharqia Governorate's National Day celebrations, Eng. Hazem El Ashmouni – Sharqia Governor inaugurated Kafr Abu Negm Village Wastewater Project, affiliated with the Authority of Abu Hammad Center and City. The project was implemented by the Arab Contractors Company, under the supervision of the National Organization for Potable Water and Sanitary Drainage. The opening was attended by Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Moaty - Deputy Governor, Eng. Eman Mohamed Refaat - Head of the Construction Authority for Potable Water and Wastewater, and Eng. Mohamed Abdel Aziz – Head of Sharqia Water and Sanitation Company. Also attending from the Arab Contractors Company were Eng. Mohamed Lashin - Head of Delta and Marine Structures Sector, Eng. Sayed El Shahat – Manager of East and Central Delta Branch which implementing the project, and Eng. Milad Attia – Manager of Sharqia Projects. The station operates with a capacity of 25 liters/second (1245 m3/day) and consists of a gravity network with 7.75 km length and a polyethylene force main with a diameter of 150 mm and 1.5km length. It discharges to Al Abbassa Main Pumping Station; and from there to the expansions of Al Tal Al Kabir Treatment Plant.
