Eng. Ahmed El Assar - Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, received Mr. Baboucarr O. Joof - Minister of Defence of Gambia, to discuss prospects of mutual cooperation and potential opportunities between the company and the Gambian government.
The meeting was attended by Eng. Heba Abou Al Ella - Vice Chairman, Eng. Ahmed El Adalany - Board Member, Ambassador Hatem Raslan - Gambia Ambassador to Cairo, Eng. Abdel Rahman Soliman - Technical Manager of the Arab Contractors Cote d’Ivoire Branch, along with members of the accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, they explored the company’s various projects, fields of expertise, and international presence; in addition to highlighting its role in implementing major projects in the New Administrative Capital and new cities, as well as infrastructure and transportation projects.
The Gambian Minister expressed his government’s aspiration to implement numerous development projects, inviting the Arab Contractors to engage with Gambia’s development plans and explore avenues of cooperation. He praised the company’s reputation in Africa, its adherence to international standards, and the quality of its work.
Eng. Ahmed El Assar expressed his pleasure in welcoming the Gambian delegation and the government’s interest in the company’s presence in their market. He emphasized on the Arab Contractors’ readiness to study priority infrastructure projects within Gambia’s development agenda. Besides, he called for early meetings with Gambian ministers and officials to explore cooperation, stressing that the Arab Contractors remains dedicated to supporting the progress of African nations, in accordance with the directives of the political leadership, and adopting the Egyptian government's policies towards the direction and pursuit of developing the countries of the continent.
