During his tour today in New Al Alamein City, Eng. Sherif El Sherbiny - Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities inspected New Al Alamein Water Desalination Plant and Mazarine Compound. He was accompanied by the officials from the ministry, the Arab Contractors Company which implementing the plant, and the Head of New Al Alamein City Authority. Eng. Sherif El Sherbiny listened to an explanation from Eng. Ahmed El Assar - Chairman of Arab Contractors Company, about the implementation status of the ongoing work on the desalination plant. Then, the Minister of Housing inspected Mazarine compound and the areas that have been fully operational, and reported about the work progress in the buildings, and the unit deliveries. Eng. Ahmed Ibrahim – Head of New Al Alamein City Development Authority pointed out that the project is built on an area of 707 feddans, and includes 7,956 units varying between villas, chalets and buildings, and is considered one of the distinguished residential projects that attract investment and residents in New Alamein City. The project is located on the southern shore of Al Alamein Lakes, overlooking the coastal towers, and includes a number of models of villas, chalets, buildings, and stores.
