As part of his ongoing field visits to follow up on the implementation of major national projects, Dr. Moustafa Madbouly – the Prime Minister inspected the pilot operation of BRT First Phase, which extends from the intersection of the Ring Road with Alexandria Agricultural Road to the Police Academy Station. The Prime Minister was accompanied by a number of executive leaders, headed by Lieutenant General Kamel El Wazir – Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, Dr. Ibrahim Saber Khalil – Cairo Governor, Eng. Ayman Attia – Qalyubia Governor, Major Gen. Maged Abdel Hamid – Deputy Minister of Transport for Land Transport; and Major Gen. Eng. Tarek Abdel Gawad – Chairman of the General Authority for Roads and Bridges. The tour included Adly Mansour BRT Station, implemented by the Arab Contractors Company, where they were welcomed by Eng. Sayed El Wazir - Vice Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company , Eng. Hassan Ibrahim – AC Board Member, Eng. Ayman Abdo – AC Executive Board Member, Eng. Aly Abdel Samad – AC Executive Board Member, Eng. Sameh El Lakany – Manager of Bridges Department, Eng. Hazem El Gendy – Manager of Civil Work Department , Eng. Mohamed Abdullah – Deputy Manager of Bridges Department. It’s worth noting that Adly Mansour BRT Station includes 2 stations: one surface station serves passengers coming from the New Cairo district toward El Salam City, transporting passengers to the top of El Salam Bridge, and the other underground station serves those heading from El Salam City to the New Cairo district, transporting passengers beneath El Salam Tunnel. Both stations are equipped with escalators and elevators to facilitate passenger movement, ensuring the highest standards of comfort and safety, in line with the state’s keenness to modernize the public transportation system and promote smart and sustainable infrastructure.
