Eng. Abdel Mottaleb Emara - Governor of Luxor inspected the El Rayania Wastewater Pumping Station in Armant as part of the projects of the presidential initiative "Decent Life." He was accompanied by Eng. Rokaya Hammad Arabi - Head of the Construction Authority for Potable Water and Wastewater in Luxor, in the presence of Eng. Yasser Mahsoub - Head of South Valley and Red Sea Sector, and Eng. Mahmoud Younis - Head of Sector, South Valley Branch Manager.
The Governor of Luxor reviewed the project components and the implementation rates. He directed the rapid completion of the remaining work for the wastewater projects, the operation of the stations, and the completion of the home connections to cover the city according to the specified time schedule.
Eng. Mahmoud Younis -Head of Sector, South Valley Branch Manager, stated that the project is ready for opening and trial operation.
Eng. Mohamed Hassan El Adisi - Deputy Branch Manager, and Eng. Ahmed Abdel Nasser – Manager of Armant Projects, declared that the project consists of 17.5 km of gravity sewers and 7.8 km of force mains, located on an area of 900m with a design capacity of 340 liters/second, serving about 30 thousand people from the El Rayania Village. The project cost is LE 220 million.
