On a wonderful evening, the annual ceremony of the Big 5 Egypt Impact Awards was held yesterday evening, with the participation of major building and construction companies in Egypt. The Arab Contractors Company was the only company to win six awards for the best engineering projects in Egypt in 2023, as follows:
The Smart City Initiative of the Year 2023 was awarded for Light Rail Transit-LRT (El Salam - New Administrative Capital - 10th Ramadan City). The award was received by Eng. El Sayed Al Wazir – Board Member.
Carbon Net-Zero Initiative of the Year 2023 was awarded for "Cairo Light Rail Transit-LRT". The award was received by Eng. Hassan Ibrahim – Manager of Joint Ventures in Egypt.
Infrastructure Project of the Year 2023 was awarded for the development of the countryside in Upper Egypt "Decent Life Initiative". The award was received by Eng. Hassan Moustafa – Board Member.
MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) Project of the Year 2023 was awarded for Sharm El-Sheikh Airport Development. The award was received by Eng. Ramzy Moustafa – Member of the Executive Board of the AC – Head of Canal and Sinai Sector.
Partnership of the Year 2023 was awarded to the Arab Contractors Company, Metito Overseas Limited, Orascom Construction, and Hassan Allam Construction. The award was received by Eng. Ahmed El Adalany – Board Member.
Power And Water Project of the Year 2023 was awarded for "the Construction of the New Delta Wastewater Treatment Plant" to the Arab Contractors Company, Metito Overseas Limited, Orascom Construction, and Hassan Allam Construction. The award was received by Eng. Ahmed El Adalany – Board Member.
It is worth noting that the Arab Contractors Company is the owner of the largest number of awards in this year's edition of the Big 5 Egypt Impact Awards.
