As a new achievement before the end of 2021; Cairo Metro Line 3 – Phase 4B won the award for the best transport project of the Year 2021 for from Construction Week Magazine. The project was implemented by JV of the Arab Contractors Company (Osman Ahmed Osman & Co.) and Orascom Construction under the supervision of the Ministry of Transport and National Authority for Tunnels.
Recently, the project won two awards from ENR and MEED as the best transport project, which prove the high quality and international implementation level of the transport projects in Egypt.
Eng. Mofida Allam – Road Consultant of the AC and Supervisor of the Laboratories and Development Sector won the arbitration award as the Engineer of the Year 2021 due to her contribution to the development of the company's laboratories and road sectors. She has also contributed to support for recycling applications of construction industry waste such as cement dust, removed asphalt layers, and the result of the asphalt scrape, which had a direct environmental and economic impact. Besides, Eng. Mofida participated in the development of the Egyptian code of roads.
The award ceremony organized by the magazine in Dubai is considered one of the most outstanding events for evaluating major distinguished projects which implemented by the building and construction companies in the Middle East, besides the prominent engineering personalities and senior consultants and industry workers. The arbitration committee includes a number of experts at the international level who select the winners of the awards in the different categories.
