The Chairman follows up the work progress in the Senate Council, Adly Mansour Interchange Station and its Shed

Eng. Sayed Farouk – CEO & President of the Arab Contractors Company inspected the Senate Council in the New Administrative Capital. He was accompanied by Eng. Ahmed El Assar – Senior Vice Chairman, Eng. Ramzy Moustafa – Head of Delta Sector and Eng. Essam Abdel Khalek – Project Managing Director. Eng. Sayed Farouk reported on the work progress regarding the finishing works. The Senate Council is built upon 33 thousand m2. It includes a ground floor, 3 typical floors; a main hall accommodates 406 members, halls, suites, terraces for VIPs, media and journalists. Besides, a huge meetings room accommodates 50 persons. The building includes number of administrative offices, general committees, media center, printing house, IT and computer center, emergency clinic, restaurant and car parks which accommodate more than 250 cars. On the other hand, the Chairman inspected the company works in Adly Mansour interchange station which includes a full-service transport complex and a commercial investment zone on a total area of 15 feddans. It will connect five different modes of transportation countrywide: the 3rd metro line, a station for the LRT, a railway station (Cairo-Suez), a SuperJet station, and Bus Rapid Transit “BRT” (Adly Mansour – El Salam). Eng. Sayed Farouk inspected the installation of the shed for Adly Mansour interchange station. The shed consists of (12) longitudinal axis and (5) transverse axis with a total weight of 2300 tons. Its total area is 24,000m, a length of 198 m and a width of 141m at an altitude of 24m. He was accompanied by Eng. Ahmed Shawki – JV Manager and Eng. Abdel Hay Badawy – Deputy Manager of the Bridges and Specialized Structures Department.
