Eng. Sayed Farouk toured the projects which carried out by the Arab Contractors Company in the New Administrative Capital which includes the Parliament’s Building, Senate Council and Egypt’s Islamic Cultural Center. The Chairman and his companions performed Friday Prayer in the projects sites. Eng. Sayed Farouk reviewed the ongoing finishing works and emphasized on the importance of following up the work progress to be accomplished according to the quality standards.
The Parliament is consisting of the main building, services building, landscape, walls, interior roads and green areas. It is built on 18000m out of 108 thousands m2 which is the total building area; it includes a main hall which accommodates 1000 members.
The Senate Council is built upon 33 thousand m2. It includes a ground floor, 3 typical floors; a main hall accommodates 406 members.
Egypt’s Islamic Cultural Center is built upon a plateau with 24m height and located at the heart of the Governmental District. It comprises number of the services building and a Commercial Cultural Center. It includes one of the world’s largest mosques … Misr Mosque which accommodates 107 thousand persons and its minarets are 140m height.
