Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority inspects the parliament and senate projects in the New Administrative Capital


Major General Hesham El Swefy - Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority inspected the projects of the parliament and senate in the New Administrative Capital which is implemented by the Arab Contractors Company under the supervision of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority.
He was accompanied by Eng. Emam Afify- Vice Chairman, Eng. Ahmed Abbass –AC Board Member and managers of the participating branches and departments in the works ‎implementation.‎
The New Parliament is built upon 126000m, it consists of the main building, the service building and the landscape works includes the fences, internal roads and the green areas.
The services buildings include the medical center, security building, power plant, electromechanical building, fire extinguisher station and car parks accommodate 675 cars.
Regarding the senate building, it is built upon 33000m2 which includes a ground floor, 3 typical floors, main hall accommodate 406 member, halls, suites and terraces for VIPs, media professionals and journalists, and a large meeting room with a capacity of 50 persons.
The building includes a number of administrative offices, general committees, media center, printing house, information technology center, emergency clinic, restaurant, car parks which accommodate up to 250 cars.
