President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inaugurated Cairo Metro Line 3 Phase 4B and laid the foundation stone for Adly Mansour interchange station to link New Administrative Capital with all the Egyptian citie


President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inaugurated Cairo Metro Line 3 Phase 4B which is executed by Egyptian hands resembled by the Joint Venture of the Arab Contractors Company and Orascom Construction. The President laid the foundation stone for Adly Mansour interchange station which is considered one of the biggest central stations that links the New Administrative Capital with all the Egyptian cities and governorates. This was in the presence of ex-interim President Counsellor Adly Mansour, senior statesmen, ministers and officials.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said that We have targeted the development of the road network and we are seeking to provide a distinct service to citizens through the development of road networks.
"We want to make something good for us and our people, so that we can help them move on the roads well. Thus, trade movement is improved and well-placed. He confirmed that the country does not spare any effort to facilitate citizens’ life.
In his speech, Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli congratulated the President and citizens for the new Hijri year.
During the inauguration of Cairo Metro Line3 Phase 4B, the Prime Minister referred to the glitch that Egypt has suffering since 2014 in the urban map. He stressed the need for development arteries and horizontal expansion to transfer development from East to West of Egypt. Madbouli declared that the transport sector is the development artery and any expansion required development projects. He emphasized that the development plan 2052 will be accomplished within years.
Madbouli pointed out that the President had directed the speedy implementation of the comprehensive plan to develop the whole transport sectors.
The Prime Minister explored the governmental strategy for developing the transport sector and raising the efficiency of roads, noting that Egypt moved up 90 international ranks in the roads sector to be ranked 28th in the world.
During the inauguration, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi watched a documentary film prepared by the Department of Moral Affairs, titled “the Shine of a Homeland,” the documentary film reviewed the inauguration phases of metro lines , linking them together to cover Egypt entirely.
The documentary film pointed out that Egypt had preceded steps and reached its full range of ambitions through the Ministry of Transport and National Authority for Tunnels when they linked the new cities with metro lines, they presented the names of those lines to include the rest of the governorates.
Lieutenant General Kamel El Wazir -  Minister of Transport  explored the transport system in Greater Cairo and the key focus of the sector development strategy from June 30, 2014 to June 30, 2020 and what has been implemented so far. The Minister of Transport congratulated the Egyptians for the new hijri year. He explained that the transportation projects with value of 6.6 trillion EGP approximately.
Lieutenant General Kamel El Wazir declared that 18 bridges and tunnels were carried out by the capabilities of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces. He announced that 174 railway stations were completed, noting that there are 7 stations are under construction.
The minister explained that we have contracted the supply of 1300 new railway locomotives in addition to rehabilitation of the old garages locomotives.
The inauguration ceremony was in the presence of Dr. Essam Wali – Head of the National Authority for Tunnels, Eng. Mohsen Salah- CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Sayed Farouk- Senior Vice Chairman, Eng. Eman Soliman – AC Board Member, Eng. Osama Moustafa- JV Manager of the Arab Contractors Company and Orascom Construction and Eng. Ahmed Shawki- JV Commercial Manager.
Eng. Mohsen declared that the project represents a major turning point in construction field in Egypt, where for the first time an Egyptian JV of the Arab Contractors Company and Orascom Construction have implemented a huge metro project which was exclusive for the foreign companies. He stated that the President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has fully supported the Egyptian companies and provide them with the confidence to implement all the projects that take place on Egypt, one of these results was the Egyptian Joint Ventures which is carrying out that huge projects.
Eng. Mohsen Salah pointed out that the Arab Contractors Company has human cadres with a great and wide spectrum of experience in implementing projects in all fields, as the acquired experience  through the execution of Port Said tunnels under the Suez Canal, and Tahya Masr Cable Stayed Bridge which awarded the certificate of world widest cable stayed bridge from Guinness World Records.
Salah emphasized that the implementation of such huge mega projects raises the reputation of Egyptian contracting companies abroad and providing the possibility to compete in the implementation of similar projects abroad . Then, he thanked the Ministry of Transport, National Authority for Tunnels and all the company workers for their exerted efforts in this project resulting an honourable image and highest quality.
