On Wednesday 27th May 2020, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi was in an inspection visit to number of roads, axes and bridges in East Cairo includes El Merghany Bridge which is carried out by the Arab Contractors Company under the supervision of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces. Besides, the President inspected Abbass El Aqad Bridge and El Saaqa Bridge in El Milllion Shagra area.
This was in the presence of Major General Ihab El Farr – Head of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, Eng. Mohsen Salah – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Emam Afify – Vice Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Tarek Sakr and Eng. Ahmed El Assar – AC Board Members, Eng. Mofida Allam – Road Consultant of the AC and Eng. Hassan Moustafa – Manager of the Bridges Department and Specialized Structures.
Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that the President was keen to assure of the workflow from the workers in the different worksites; he listened to their opinions as well and congratulated them with Eid Al Fitr.
In this context, Mr. President directed the commitment to the timelines for completing the construction work and raising efficiency while applying the best safety and security standards. He praised the use of the new technique of paving roads in Egypt, which is according to the latest international standards through asphalt recycling.
