The Minister of Youth and Sports discusses the final preparation for the Bicycles Track and the Indoor Hall in Cairo Stadium
On Sunday 29th September; Dr. Ashraf Sobhy - Minister of Youth and Sports received Eng. Mohsen Salah – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company to discuss the mutual cooperation mechanisms between the ministry and the company.
The meeting discussed the most important successful works of infrastructures and construction works implemented by the Arab Contractors Company in youth and sports field. This meeting was attended by Eng. Emam Afify – the Vice Chairman and Eng. Ahmed Abbass – the Board Member.
The Minister of Youth and Sports thanked the Arab Contractors Company for the implementation of sporting structures during the last period. He praised the company achievement in the development and increasing the efficiency of Cairo International Stadium, on which the African Nations Cup was held in the middle of this year and gained the international appreciation for its honorable image.
The Minister discussed the required preparation to finalize the works of the international Bicycles Track in Cairo Stadium to be an added value for the sporting structures which constructed and developed during the last period and put Egypt into the international consideration to hold the greatest sporting events on it.
The meeting was concluded by discussing a mechanism for handling the Indoor Hall in Cairo International Stadium as preparation for Handball World Cup 2019 hosted by Egypt 2021.
