Eng. Mohsen Salah – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company hold a meeting with the leaders and officials of the Parliament Building in the New Administrative Capital to discuss the implementation details and the time schedule of the project. This was in the presence of Eng. Sayed Farouk – Senior Vice Chairman, Eng. Emam Afify –Vice Chairman of the AC, Eng. Ahmed Abbass – the AC Board Member and Eng. Mofida Allam – the Roads Consultant in the AC and the General Supervisor of the Development and Laboratory Sector. Then, Eng. Mohsen and his companions toured the main building of the parliament and inspected the facades and finishing works. The concrete structure works were implemented 100%, the implementation rate of the project works are as follows: buildings works 88%, painting 83%, coating 25% and electricity works 30%. Besides, the installation works of: 220ton of iron sheets which related to the central air conditioning works and 25000m of pipes which related to the fire-fighting works. This was in the presence of Eng. Khaled Eissa- Member of AC Executive Board, Eng. Mahmoud El Sharnouby – Head of Electromechanical Works Sector, Eng. Hany Maher - General Manager of the Project, Eng. Mamdouh Zebib – Assistant of the Head of Greater Cairo Sector, Eng. Mohammed Elwi – Manager of the Distinguished Buildings Department, Eng. Mohammed Lasheen – Manager of Nasr City Branch, Eng. Salam Rashad – Manager of the Electromechanical Works for Public Buildings and Utilities, Eng. Tarek Safy El Din – the Deputy Manager of the Distinguished Buildings Department, Eng. Mohammed Osama - the Deputy Manager of Cairo Branch, Eng. Mahmoud Nour El Din - the Deputy Manager of Nasr City Branch, Eng. Ahmed El Rifai - the Deputy Manager of Helwan Branch and Eng. Mohammed Abdel Nabi – Manager of the Technical Affairs in Cairo Sector. It is a noteworthy that the New Parliament Building is built upon 126000m. It consists of the main building which comprises a basement, a ground floor, 8 typical floors, 2 domes with 50m diameter, the main hall which accommodates 1000 member and the administrative offices. It includes number of services buildings (the medical center – security building – electricity station building – electromechanic building – firefighting station – car parks which accommodates 675 cars). In addition to these, there are the fencing works, the internal roads and the green areas.
