H.H. Dr. Ashraf Sobhy – the Minister of Youth and Sports toured the Bikes Stadium in Cairo International Stadium Authority. He was accompanied with Eng. Mohsen Salah –Chairman and CEO of the Arab Contractors Company which executed the works, Gen. Ali Darweesh – Head of Cairo Stadium Authority, Eng. Ahmed Abbass – AC Board Member. The Minister followed up the execution situation and completion rate of the project in relation to its construction works. Eng. Mohammed Ibrahim – the Project Manager stated that the project is built upon 50000m. The First phase includes the wood track, the terraces, an emergency tunnel, players' tunnel, and services for the players' tunnel comprise WCs and Doctor's room. The Second phase includes the umbrella for the Bikes Stadium, concrete works for the gym building; the concrete and finishing works for the V.I.P building, the finishing works for the viewers building, air conditioning works, landscaping, parking, electricity-wastewater and feeding networks, sound systems, screens, tanks and the pumping station. It is a noteworthy that the Bikes Stadium after its inauguration will be an iconic unique stadium on the Middle East and Africa, its establishment is a kind of preparation for hosting the international championships.
