During the inauguration of Borg El Arab Grain Silos Complex, the Minister of Supply and Internal Trade praised AC efforts in delivering the project on a record time before its scheduled date to catch the wheat season. Besides; Alexandria Governor thanked AC for its commitment on executing the First phase of Grain Silos and 7th Sector earlier than its schedule date which indicate that the Arab Contractors Company and its works are reliable trusted and highly qualified.
The Deputy Manager of Alexandria Branch stated that the First Phase includes the operation of 9 grain silos with a total cost EGP 100 million with a total capacity 45000 tons. Each grain silo accommodates 5000 tons. He added that the project include the construction of many administrative, service buildings, a tower, pumps, scale, car park, fence, building from Pink Bricks. It is noteworthy that the Egyptian Holding Company for Silos and Storage awarded the AC the 2nd phase contract to reach 18 grain silos with total cost EGP 170 million and aiming to increase the storage capacity to 90000 tons on the two phases and it is expected to be inaugurated by the end of June 2015.
