Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities and Assiut Governor Touring Number of the Development Projects
Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab – Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities and Assiut Governor touring number of the development projects in the governorate. They toured the first phase of Qoussia water station and network which serves 32 villages and 370 thousands persons benefit from it. They visited the rehabilitation project of old Assiut water station serving Assiut city. They toured the social housing project in New Assiut.
It is noteworthy that the first phase of Qoussia water station and network total cost is EGP 300 million. The project scope of work: water networks 87 km length and water station capacity 68000 m³/day. Its expected accomplishment date will be 1st March 2014. The rehabilitation project of old Assiut water capacity 200 l/sec with a total cost is EGP 45 million and its expected accomplishment date will be at the end of March 2014. The social housing project for low income youth including 28 buildings, 672 housing units for each, the housing unit is 75m (super lux finishing). Its expected accomplishment date will be mid of February 2014.
