Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab touring the Greater Cairo Metro Line III – Phase I (From Abbassia to Attaba station)

Greater Cairo Metro Project is one of the largest Company Projects in which a large number of supervisor employees and departments had participated for implementing civil and electromechanical works, that was in collaboration with major French companies (Vinci, Bouygues, Colas Rail and Alstom ) and Egypt-Orascom, too.
From Abbassia station, boarding the train to El Gueish station, Eng. Mahlab highly praised the distinguished achievements which had been completed within a short time, in spite of the project difficulties.
Eng. Magdy Mounir, Deputy Project Manager, declared that the first phase, consisting  of a tunnel line, whose length is 5 km and diameter of 9.8 km, will connect maintenance workshops with Abbassia, passing through 5 stations, starting from Abbassia, Abdou Pasha and Bab Al-Shiaaria stations, ending at Attaba station that will link between the second and the third line.
He also declared that project civil works costs about 2 billion Egyptian pounds with an Achievement Completion Percentage of 95%.   
At the end of the visit, Eng. Mahlab expressed his thanks and appreciation to the employees urging them to continue hard working to meet project demands in a timely manner.
