On the morning of Wednesday, September 14th, Dr. Abdel Kawi Khalifa, Governor of Cairo, accompanied by Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab, President & CEO of the Arab Contractors Co., inspected the workflow of the multilevel Tahrir Garage Project. This project is being implemented on an area of 20,000 m2 next to the Egyptian museum to accommodate 24 buses and 1700 cars. This will completely eliminate parking problems and will help ease traffic flow in the city, as well.
The garage trial was scheduled to start in the mid of next year and it will be inaugurated during October celebrations of the same year.
