The Arab Contractors and its partners have signed a contract for the construction of the quay wall of the new container terminal at Damietta Port. The contract was awarded to The Arab Contractors with ARCHIRODON of Greece and a Kuwaiti investor. The contract value is 242 Million US$ and to be completed within 630days. The signature ceremony took place on the 19th of June and was honored by the presence of H.E. Dr. Ahmed Nazif , Prime Minister of Egypt, the Minister of housing, utilities and urban development, the Minister of transportation and the Governor of Damietta
