During the period from 29/11/2006 and 2/12/2006, Eng. Ahmad El Maghraby - Minister of Housing Utilities and Urban Communities and General Magdy Ayoub - Kenna Governor visited the water purification project in Armant and New Thebes with capacity of 400-800 litre / second and 180-360 litre /second respectively in the presence of Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab – Chairman of the AC, Eng. Sami Omara - Chairman of The National Organization for Potable Water and Sewage.
The project values were 90 and 35 millions Egyptian Pounds respectively and they are intended to serve 170 and 150 thousands person.
