Eng. Mahlab Follow Up the Work Progress in Rod El Farg Axis

Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab – Presidential Assistant for the National and Strategic Projects toured the work progress in Rod El Farg Axis which executed under the supervision of the Engineering Authority for the Armed Forces with a total cost EGP 5 billion. The project objective is to facilitate the crossing of the vehicles and the pedestrians; create new development and investment areas; saving time of travel between North and West of Egypt and vise versa. Rod El Farg Axis will be parallel to 26th July Axis to solve the traffic crisis. Eng. Mahlab hold a meeting with the project leaders and listening to exploration about the project phases, being committed to the schedule, the obstacles and solutions.
It is noteworthy that the Arab Contractors Company is executing the most complicated part of the axis which includes the utilities "water, wastewater pipelines – telephone, high-medium-low voltage cables) - expropriation. The axis area includes the construction of 3 bridges one of them is a suspended bridge. The axis scope of work: 6 lanes for each side: 2lanes for buses aside the tramway 13.5 km lengths including 3 flyovers – 8 inlets and outlets in El Mazalat - 6 inlets and outlets in the Ring Road; utilities conversion; road and lighting works.
