The Minister of Electricity attended the signing of the Marine Works (intake) of Suez Thermal Power Plant 650 MW Project awarded to AC with a total value EGP 140 million. The Chairman of the Holding Company for Electricity and the Chairman of the Arab Contractors and the Chairman of East Delta Company signing the contract. It is noteworthy that the new plant is one of the Governmental Fifth Plan projects. Its expected operating date will be on 2015 to be connected with the national unified electricity network 500kv. The AC Marine works department is carrying out the works in this project.
