For the Grace of God, placing our complete trust in Allâh support upon our efforts and sweat, besides our confidence in ourselves together with our technical, logistic capabilities and the supervisors support, we had successfully completed the first phase of the contract.
Now, we are working to achieve the second phase with the same degree of planning and success.
From the beginning, our implementation strategy was for ensuring a high level of quality, safety and environment protection bringing the project on time.
This was achieved with the best choice of raw material, equipments and wrenches that corresponds to the contracted specifications.
The first phase involved the non-standard work modules that consists of the underground garage facilities for the garage and the building for the power central station, as well as the retaining walls and the foundations.
Currently, the work on completing the second phase is underway that consists of the standard modules of main building's slabs and attached facilities and garage.
The project manager, Eng. Serry Soliman, announced the following concerning the current status of the implementation:The work on the buildings and the electro-mechanical networks has started and work is underway in full swing. Mentioning that the area of the hospital's floor, that is equal to 49000 m2, is equivalent to the area of 10 acres.2-The work of the concrete structure of the 4th level has reached more than 10,00Preparations for the installation of bishop attributed to the first level is underway after finishing the foundations and the structures of the first level of the garage that should accommodate 5000 cars and consists of 3 underground levels.4-Work on the foundations and the walls og the building of the central power station, that has an area of 12000m2 and starts at 22 m depth below the street level, was finished. Preparations are currently underway to pour the first roof.The building contains 2 levels that cover all the central air conditioning stations, power generators, transformers stations, and laundry. Noting that the monthly rates for the implementation of the project range between 50 – 60 million EGP.
El Sheikh Gaber Hospital is considered to be one of the biggest medical centers in Kuwait and the middle east. It will provide medical services for more than 600 thousand persons. The hospital contains 1200 beds and the total area of the buildings is 660 ,000 m2 with a total cost of 303 million Kuwait Dinar that is equivalent to 6 billion EGP. This edifice includes the hospital's main building, central unit's building, 189m2 underground parking area, dental clinic building, housing for nursing staff and external works, kitchen equipment, laundry, operation and maintenance. It also has two helicopter landing areas.Thanks to God, the schedule's requirements were all met and the next phase will require the provision of 15 distnctive engineers and supervisors in the work of finishes. The selection process of the required calibers is currently underway.When completed, the hospital will be a global icon and will be the largest of its kind in the middle east and will become a beacon for sciences and medical staff training.It is worth mentioning that foreign projects in different countries, specially in Kuwait, have collaborated in elevating the company's ENR ranking to place first amongst Arab and 69th amongst the top 225 companies.
