The Arab Contractors Co. has been awarded the tender of the construction, completion and maintenance of Jaber Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah Hospital, with a total value EGP 6.1 billion. The project includes: the hospital main building (1200 beds), the dental building, the staff and doctors’ residency spots, services building, Electricity building, laundry, workshops, medical gas building, ground water tank and a multi-storey garage. The contract signed in the presence of Eng. Eng. Ahmed El-Maghrabi - Minister of Housing, Utilities & Urban Communities and Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab – President and CEO of the Arab Contractors Company. Eng. Ahmed El-Maghrabi said that the project contract is between the Arab Contractors and the Kuwaiti government. Besides; AC awarded the tender of construction, implementation and maintenance of roads, higher corridors, sewage and rainwater streams as well as other services for Al Jahraa street with a total value EGP 5.3 billion. The project includes: bridges, tunnels, roadways, roads surfaces and metal structure bridges for pedestrians, water supply, drainage works, gas pipelines, cables, ducts telecommunication network, streets lighting, traffics, road signs and landscaping (greenery and irrigation network).
