Dr. Ahmed Nazif - Prime Minister inaugurates Cairo Tower Development Project. In the presence of Minister Amr Soliman, Eng. Ahmed El Maghrabi – Minister of Housing, Utilities & Urban Development, Mr. Zoheer Garana - Minister of Tourism, General Abdel Salam El Mahgoub - Minister of Local Development, Dr. Abdul Azim Wazer - Cairo Governor, Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab - President and CEO of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Faysal Mortada – Senior Vice President for Execution and Technical Affair and Eng. Nouh Meshref , Vice-President for Execution & Technical Affairs. It is noteworthy that Dr. Nazif praised the company efforts and main role in the development and rehabilitation of Cairo Tower through the distiguished changes and additions which serve the different touristic sectors. The Prime Minister descripe AC as a giant company competing on international level and succeeded to develop Cairo Tower without any problems. He said that the development works is a pride for all the Egyptians. Cairo Tower was built and inaugurated on 1961 in the era of Late President Gamal Abd El Nasser. Cairo tower is one of the landmarks of Cairo and one of the highest concrete tower in the world. Built in 1961 the 187m high. Its development works includes the re-planning of its facade and entries, adding two new elevators, complete renovation of its electricity network, fire system and water network and four times increasing usage of its surrounding area.
