At the general assembly of the Arab Contractors Company, chaired by the Minister of Housing: The Chairman presents a summary of the company's annual board report and financial results

 

Eng. Ahmed El Assar - Chairman of theArab Contractors Company, presented a summary of the company's annual reportand financial results during the company's General Assembly, chaired by Eng.Randa El Menshawy - Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities.

The meeting was attended by Eng.Hassan Mustafa - Senior Vice Chairman, Dr. Mohamed Onsi Elbeshouty - ViceChairman; Eng. Heba Abu El Ela - Vice Chairman, Dr. Eng. Ahmed El Adalani - BoardMember, Eng. Dina Adel Fathi - Board Member, Eng. Mohamed Alawi - Board Member,and Eng. Hassan Ibraheem - Board Member. The company's financial statements forthe fiscal year 2024/2025 and the draft budget for the fiscal year 2026/2027were approved.

At the beginning of his speech, Eng.Ahmed El Assar offered extended his sincere congratulations on the politicalleadership's confidence in appointing Eng. Randa El Menshawy as Minister ofHousing, Utilities and Urban Communities, to continue the development andconstruction process in the construction sector during the coming period.

Eng. Ahmed El Assar reviewed thecompany's annual board report and its financial results for the fiscal yearending on 30/6/2025.

Eng. El Assar added that the companyhas succeeded in opening new markets abroad and expanding existing ones, aswell as starting to develop the information technology infrastructure and thedigital transformation of the company's areas of work, while continuing tosupport the company's quality system.

The Chairman of the Arab ContractorsCompany indicated that that a plan has been launched to optimize theutilization of the Company’s assets, diversify into new business activities,enhance research and development in emerging fields, make better use of idlematerials and recycling initiatives, and continue implementing specializedtraining programs. 

The Chairman announced the achievementof the following financial indicators: achieving the company's targeted planapproved by the General Assembly, with work being completed at 112% of thetargeted plan, achieving a surplus of 140.40% of the targeted surplus,achieving revenues for the company during the fiscal year 2024/2025 amountingto EGP 48.343 billion compared to EGP 47.810 billion in the previous year, anincrease of 1.11% over the previous year, achieving revenues from the company'swork abroad of EGP 13.915 billion, achieving net profits of EGP 1.404 billioncompared to net profits of EGP 1.156 billion during the fiscal year 2023/2024,an increase of 21.45%, in addition to achieving continuous growth inshareholders' equity (the public share in the company), as shareholders' equityincreased from EGP 13.806 billion on 6/30/2024 to EGP 14.336 billion (beforedistribution) on 6/30/2025. In addition to the company's payment of cashobligations.

Eng. Ahmed El Assar added that salaryincreases, higher social insurance contributions, and other additional costswere absorbed without imposing any burden on the State’s general budget. Healso proposed increasing the Company’s capital by EGP 1 billion from retainedearnings of the previous year and profits realized during FY 2024/2025.

The Chairman pointed out that thenumber of the completed and delivered projects has reached (66) projects andthe number of new projects that have been contracted to be implemented hasreached (67).

Then,he reviewed the future vision of Arab Contractors Company, in light of thecompany's strategic vision to achieve sustainable development of its marketshare in the contracting sector by targeting continuity in maintaining itsbusiness volume.
