In the context of strengthening cooperation and exchanging experiences in construction and infrastructure fields, and during their recent visit to Cairo through the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate, an Ugandan delegation headed by Mr. Henry Mwanaki - Chairman of Uganda Engineers Registration Board, and Eng. Bosco Lepi - President of Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers visited the Arab Contractors Company, where they were received by Eng. Hassan Ibraheem – Board Member of the Arab Contractors Company, and Eng. Amani Khodeir - Head of Africa Projects Follow-up Sector. During the meeting, a presentation was given about the Arab Contractors Company and its most prominent projects in Egypt and abroad, along with a review of the company’s presence in the African continent, particularly in the Republic of Uganda, where the delegation praised the prominent role that the company plays in implementing a number of vital projects there, noting that it has been awarded the title of best construction company in Uganda for several consecutive years. The Ugandan delegation’s visit included a field tour to inspect a number of the company’s projects, including Tahya Masr Bridge and one of the stations of the Cairo Metro Line 4, currently under construction, in addition to visiting Massara Shipyard, which belongs to the Manufacturing Sector, where the delegation acknowledged about the company’s capabilities and the latest implementation methods used in its projects. It is worth mentioning that the Arab Contractors Company is one of the most prominent Egyptian companies operating in Uganda, where it has implemented a number of major projects in the fields of infrastructure and vital services, including the construction and development of roads and bridges, and the implementation of hospitals and medical centers, in addition to administrative and university buildings and main markets, which confirms its pivotal role in supporting the development process in Uganda.
