As part of the regular follow up on the spinning and weaving factories and maximizing the benefits of national industries, Mr. Mohamed Sheimy - Minister of Public Business Sector, inspected the construction of Spinning Factory 6 in El Mahalla El Koubra, being implemented by the Arab Contractors Company. The Minister reviewed the progress of the factory's construction, which has reached 96%, and inspected the final phases of construction and machinery installation. This wan in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Shaker - Managing Director of the Holding Company for Spinning and Weaving; Eng. Ahmed Badr - Managing Director of Misr Spinning and Weaving Company in El Mahalla El Koubra, Eng. Hassan Mustafa - Senior Vice Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, and Eng. Mohamed Lashin – AC Executive Board Member and Head of the Delta and Maritime Structures Sector. Eng. Mohamed Gomaa -Head of East and Central Delta Branch, and Eng. Hamed El Bagoury - Deputy Branch Manager, indicated that the factory covers an area of 20,000 m2, comprising a 16,000 m2 production hall. This includes approximately 4,000 meters of reinforced concrete cooling and electrical tunnels, a steel structure, electromechanical works, and a 4,000 m2 service corridor. The factory also includes 6 cooling stations and 6 administrative and service buildings. The Minister of Public Business Sector emphasized the importance of maintaining strict adherence to all quality control standards throughout the project's implementation, commitment to the time schedule, and following all occupational safety and health procedures. The Minister concluded his visit by thanking all those involved in the project's implementation and confirmed the government's commitment to providing all possible support to the spinning and weaving sector and strengthening national industries.
