Luxor Governor inaugurates Al Raziqat Qibli Subsidiary Wastewater Pumping Station as part of "Decent Life" Initiative

As part of the ongoing celebrations of Luxor Governorate’s National Day, and within the projects of the presidential initiative to develop the villages of the Egyptian countryside, “Haya Karima” (Decent Life), Eng. Abdel Muttalib Emara - Governor of Luxor, inaugurated the subsidiary wastewater pumping station of Al Raziqat Qibli in Armant. The station was implemented by the Arab Contractors Company on an area of 500m2, serving approximately 7,000 residents of the village, at a total cost of EGP 30 million. The inauguration was in the presence of Eng. Ruqayya Hammad - Head of the Construction Authority for Potable Water and Wastewater in Luxor, Eng. Heba Ahmed Sayed and Eng. Abdullah Bakri – Construction Managers at the Authority, Eng. Moustafa Abdul Nabi – Construction Engineer at the Authority, Eng. Yasser Mahsoub - Head of South Valley and Red Sea Sector at the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Mansour Shehata – Manager of South Valley Branch, Eng. Ahmed Seddiq - Manager of Luxor and Armant Projects, and Eng. Ahmed Aboul Magd - the project Manager. The project includes a manhole with a diameter 4m, 2 pumps (1 operating and 1 standby) with a capacity of 50 l/sec. at a head of 14m, an operation chamber, a diesel generator with a capacity of 70 kVA, a security building, a storage building, a fuel tank, in addition to pump hoists, screens, measuring and control devices, and external lighting.
