Inspection visit to Dar Al Hedaya Mosque project in Accra

A delegation from the Arab Contractors Company, including Eng. Ahmed El Adalani and Eng. Mohamed Elwi – Board Members of the Arab Contractors Company, visited the headquarters of Arab Contractors Ghana Ltd., where they were received by Eng. Ahmed Mansour - Managing Director of the Arab Contractors Ghana Ltd. During the visit, the Board members inspected the work on "Dar Al Hedaya" Mosque project, which the company is implementing in the capital, Accra. The mosque is considered one of the most prominent ongoing building projects in Ghana. The company delegation praised the quality of the work and the level of performance, stressing that the project reflects the excellence and discipline of the work teams, which has earned the project praise from the client and residents of the surrounding areas for its speed of implementation and high quality at all its phases. Eng. Samer Moukhtar- the project manager explained during his presentation of the work plan that the mosque is located in the heart of the capital, Accra, on an area of 9,100 m2. It features an architectural design that combines the aesthetics of authentic Islamic architecture with a contemporary spirit. The mosque includes a main dome with a diameter of 15m, 3 additional domes with a diameter of 8 m, and 29 additional domes in the portico area, in addition to 4 minarets with a height of 60 m. The project also includes an administrative building, a school with a capacity up to 300 students, event halls, and facilities to serve mosque visitors. It is also worth noting that the designs for the project were entirely prepared in-house by the Arab Contractors Company, with the participation of the Technical Support Department, the Design and Quality Support Unit for Electromechanical Works, and the Engineering Consultancy Sector of the company.
