Under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi; Dr. Hani Sweilam - Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, inaugurated the 8th edition of Cairo Water Week 2025, in the presence of ministers, governors, and senior figures from international organizations. The event, held from October 12 to 16 2025 under the theme “Innovative Solutions for Climate Change Resilience and Water Sustainability,” with the participation of 24 companies and institutions, including the Arab Contractors Company, showcasing the latest technologies and solutions in water resource management and climate change adaptation.
The opening session was attended by Eng. Mohamed Elwi – Board Member of the Arab Contractors, Eng. Mohamed Lashin - Head of Delta Sector, and Eng. Lubna Shatla - Manager of Business Development, Strategic Studies, and Marketing Department.
Eng. Hani Sweilam - Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, also inaugurated the exhibition held on the sidelines of the conference to showcase innovations and modern solutions, and to enhance cooperation and exchange of expertise between institutions and experts working in the field of water resource sustainability, contributing to supporting the state's efforts to achieve water security and sustainable development.
The company's participation comes as part of its commitment to continuous engagement with national and international events concerned with water and sustainable development issues, as well as its keenness to stay updated on the latest innovative technologies in water and wastewater projects, which are among the leading sectors of Arab Contractors' works inside Egypt and abroad.
